 Logo and EWS Overlay System 

The Starfish TS Logo Inserter is a Windows service software application that overlays a pre-recorded logo, or Early Warning Signal text, onto an encoded media transport stream. The process involves decoding the input stream, adding the logo/EWS text and then re-encoding the processed stream. When an overlay isn’t active, the input signal is passed without decoding.

The application is self-contained and requires no additional broadcast infrastructure. It runs on generic Windows server hardware that can support multiple independent channels.

TS Logo Inserter has applications in traditional broadcast, IPTV and OTT systems.

Hardware Requirements:

Runs on generic enterprise grade server hardware. Minimum hardware specification: Intel Xeon E5-2400 Family, 4 core processor - or better, 12GB RAM. Operating System - Microsoft Server 2016 or later.

Licensing - The application is protected by means of a hardware security dongle and systems can be upgraded to add additional channels simply by license updates.
